MELINQ is responsible for processing personal data in the app. For privacy questions and requests, email melinqapp@gmail.com.

What data do we process?

We process your email address and sign-in information through Firebase Authentication; profile details such as username, age group, country, date of birth and avatar; and content you share, including messages, reviews, party information, friendships and reports. We also process device and push-token data and technical error data. When you use voice chat, your microphone audio is processed during the connection.

Why, and with whom?

We use this data for sign-in, profiles, matchmaking, chat, parties, push notifications, safety, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Google Firebase processes account, database, push and crash data as a service provider. LiveKit provides the voice connection. Other users can see your public profile and content you share with them. We do not sell personal data. The current test version contains no advertising or payment features.

Security and retention

We use access rules, encrypted connections and account security. We retain data while your account exists or as needed for features, safety or legal obligations. Shared messages, reports and technical logs may temporarily remain after account deletion.

Your rights and deletion

You can edit profile information in the app and delete your account through Account and security. Even without app access, you can request account and data deletion by emailing melinqapp@gmail.com. Include your username and account email address, but never your password. We may verify your identity and review additional data deletion requests. See account and data deletion.
